TO FIGHT
FOR THE TRIUMPH OF HUMANITY
FOR A TRIUMPH OF ETERNITY!
Josefina Chacín Ducharne
la esclava del Señor
I hear the voices of others,
those who before me cried out:
Liberty! Liberty!
Voices of others
who gave their lives
for the Unity;
flames are they
of the Torch that burns
before the Throne of Love and Truth
which are theirs for all Eternity.
To fight
and overcome our fallen nature,
which opposes the Good;
Unfinished work are we,
...a link in the chain.
On our side stands Life,
on our side stands Love,
to die to the egoistic-I,
freeing yourself from evil,
is the triumph of Humanity
INTRODUCTION
Let us fight for the triumph of Humanity, for a triumph of Eternity. This is a call to all men and women of "good will"--children, the youth, the adults, and the elderly, to set aside all egoism in favor of Justice and Truth in the Unity of Liberty. Unity of Liberty means to come to consciousness of the fact that all of us are ONE and that no one can harm anyone else without harming himself. Man -- Humanity taken collectively -- has fulfilled his cycle of human evolution, and each human being, regardless of his age, can attain to this consciousness of Unity of Liberty in order to take the leap toward the new Humanity of the "new man," which is to be revealed very soon. This consciousness of Unity of Liberty is not a knowledge, it is a state of consciousness that once attained by man -- by the human being -- there's no going back, but rather, it impels us either to remain in ourselves, independent of the Unity, or to take the leap into the void in order to become integrated forever in the Unity of Liberty in the Will. Whether you want it or not, you are going to reach this state of consciousness of Unity of Liberty, but you can reach it affirmed in yourself or you can reach it oriented to your Being, the Will; you must make your choice right now, in your "today, " in each moment-to-moment action of your life. Affirming yourself in yourself is to act egoistically in detriment to someone else, who is a part of yourself. Orienting yourself to the Being, the Will, is to act with a righteous conscience in each action of your life, putting aside every form of egoism in favor of liberty, justice and truth in relation to someone else, who is a part of yourself.
Do not Lament
Do not lament the faults of humanity; assume responsibility for your own part in it. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the unconscious and egoistic actions of others; become conscious of your actions, accept the responsibility for their consequences, and deny yourself. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the absence of faith, hope and charity in others; live what you believe. Don't ask of someone else with speeches, preaching, or admonitions what you yourself can't do. Don't expect from others what you yourself cannot give. Don't do to someone else what you don't want done to you. It is the only thing you can do for the Faith, Hope, and Charity that you want for humanity.
Do not lament immorality in any of its forms; don't you be immoral in any way. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament corruption and vices in any of their aspects; do not, in any way, be corrupt yourself, and strive to correct whatever vice you may have, however small and inoffensive it may seem. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the failings and errors of your parents, your spouse, your children, your family, your friends, of those who live and work with you; dialogue with them, fulfill your obligations and duties to each one; become conscious of your own actions, and assume responsibility for them. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the injustices that are committed daily; you yourself be just in all your affairs. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the robbery and assaults that are committed daily in the world in all the social, political and economic aspects and levels; don't you rob or assault anyone, and there are many ways to do this. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the political and economic disintegration of your country and of the whole world; assume responsibility for your own actions in whatever situation you find yourself. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament for crimes that are committed daily in the world, people killing one another in all kinds of ways; act in accordance with your state of consciousness. It is the only thing you can do. But do not forget that the highest state of consciousness is the one Jesus refers to when he says: "You have heard that it was said to the people of old, 'You shall not kill and whoever kills shall be liable to judgment.' But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' (idiot, stupid) is answerable to the Sanhedrin. And anyone who says 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell" (Mt 5:21-22).
Do not lament the high cost of living; do not be wasteful, consume only what is necessary, don't acquire superfluous things, work with determination, till the earth which will give you its fruits; try, together with your whole family, to be materially self-sufficient; in this way you are making a contribution to humanity. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament over so many disoriented youth who drift through the world seeking to fill their need for a home, for love, and for understanding, which they did not find in their families. If you have children, relatives or others who depend on you, give them love and understanding along with your good example. It is the only thing you can do. And if one of these disoriented youth comes to you to unburden his troubles, give him love, understanding and a good example. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament over the many poor people who live on the margin of society, who don't have anything to eat and lack even the bare necessities of life: share what you have with those around you, with those who come your way; give them not only material things but love and understanding and the good example of your life. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the national debt and the poor public services; pay your taxes, cooperate with the maintenance of the public facilities you use. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the ever-increasing pornography in movies, magazines, television, etc.; do not cooperate with them by giving them your money or by giving them the energy of your attention and thought. It is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament the lack of modesty of women who dress in such a way so as to be provocative to men. If you are a woman, dress modestly; it is the only thing you can do. If you are a man, do not stare at such women, giving them the satisfaction they are looking for; it is the only thing you can do.
Do not lament over all the vices and lies of the world, they are proper to its spirit; renounce the spirit of the world with your own actions, in your everyday life. It is the only thing you can do to attain a better world.
Do not lament what is going on in your mind right now. Be conscientious in your actions, assume responsibility for them. This is your choice.
Do not lament...
Do not lament...
Do not lament...
Be responsible and conscientious, you are choosing in each action of your life: "to BE" or "not to BE."
Let us cooperate_____________________
Let us cooperate with one another in this fight for the triumph of Humanity; it is your triumph, my triumph and the triumph of the others. When you are about to criticize or lament or when you hear someone else criticize or lament, remind yourself and remind him: "Do not lament...! What is the only thing you can do?"
