Our Yes to the Divine Beloved
There is a call,
an invitation in the
deepest part of our being,
in silence and whisperings,
in attractions and luring,
an invitation to surrender ourselves to the Divine Beloved.
To say AYes@ with our whole being
to his fore-offered unconditional and mysterious love,
to give ourselves without reserve or reservations
to His all embracing compassion and love.
To let go of ourselves,
of the holding on to our fragile self-securities,
our distorted understanding of what=s
good and evil,
our feeble powers of self-will,
to make room for Him in the deepest part of our soul,
to open up an empty space
where He can act according to His Will,
so that He can be God in our lives.
To let go of all our resistances,
our desires and attachments, to empty ourselves
in that Aspiritual
vacuum@ that allows God to be and to act in us.
Our AYes,@ flowing from the fiat of Mary,
makes us docile, responsive, and malleable in the hands of
God.
It is the renunciation of all self-will
and the surrender of the liberty,
totally and unconditionally, to the Divine Beloved
that allows Him to take possession of us
and to manifest His WillB
His loving dynamic energy B
in the instrumentality of our created being.
